A life has been lost at Beech Hill Manor, and the community mourns the passing of Philip McLaughlin (Philips) Dunree, Linsfort, Buncrana, F93RX89. Philip's passing marks a somber occasion, as he was predeceased by his parents, John and Kathleen, brother Johnny, and sisters Mary Ellen, Kathleen, Cissie, and Brigid. May they all rest in peace.
Philip is deeply loved and remembered by his wife, Kathleen, and their children: Philip (Catherine), Paul (Nicola), Kathleen, Mary (Derek), Claire (Marty), Sadie (Nicholas), and Grace (Jamie). He is also cherished by his sisters, Mena and Patsy, and his extended family, including grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law. The family circle is a testament to Philip's enduring legacy.
Philip's remains will be laid to rest at his late residence, where visitors are welcome to pay their respects from 8 pm on Monday, December 8th. The farewell ceremony will commence at 10.30 am on Wednesday, leading to a solemn Requiem Mass at Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney, at 11 am. This event will be broadcast live on YouTube at www.youtube.com/@buncranaparish (https://www.youtube.com/@BuncranaParish).
The family requests privacy during this time, with the house being private from 10 pm to 10 am on both nights and in the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, c/o Porter Funeral Directors, honoring Philip's memory.
May Philip's soul find eternal peace.
