He even spilled the beans on their dining plans, mentioning a visit to Mott 32 for dinner and a highly anticipated meal at Vij's for the following night. And guess what? They absolutely made it to Vij's, with the restaurant itself sharing heartwarming photos of their visit on a Sunday morning.
Vij's expressed their sheer delight at hosting such esteemed guests. "Welcoming Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan to Vijโs felt surreal โ four incredible artists whose work has brought so much joy to audiences around the world, gathered around our table in Vancouver," they shared. The restaurant emphasized their gratitude for being able to share their food and hospitality, noting that "Moments like these remind us why we love what we do." To top it off, each of the stars left with a copy of Chef Vij's new cookbook, My New Indian Kitchen, co-authored with Jennifer Muttoo.
